Burn-After-Reading: Self-Destructing Message Link

Create a free, one-time secret link to share a password, API key, or private note. Encrypted in your browser, stored ephemerally, and destroyed the moment it's read.

Frequently asked questions

Is this self-destructing message tool really free and anonymous?

Yes. No account or email is required to create a one-time secret link. The message is encrypted in your browser before it's sent, so Notenz never sees the plain text or the encryption key.

What happens after the link is opened?

The encrypted note is permanently deleted from the server the moment it's viewed once. There is no way to retrieve it again, even by Notenz staff.

How is this different from a password manager?

This tool is for sharing a secret once. For ongoing, encrypted storage of passwords and accounts that's delivered to your family if you ever go silent, see Notenz's free vault.
