Common questions
No. Your notes and files are encrypted at rest the moment they're saved, and Notenz only ever stores the scrambled version. They're decrypted only at the moment your vault executes and is delivered to your chosen recipients. For even stronger protection, Guardian's Sealed Vault encrypts your data entirely in your browser before it ever reaches our servers. We never hold that key.
Nothing happens immediately. Notenz sends reminder nudges and waits a full grace period before doing anything. As long as you click one check-in link before the grace period ends, your vault stays locked and your timer resets.
If delivery is triggered by mistake, Guardian gives you 24 hours to recall it and revoke recipient access. Your vault content is retained for 30 days after delivery, then all files and notes are permanently deleted from our servers.
Yes. Cancel Guardian any time from billing settings; access continues until the end of your billing period. Guardian has no trial and includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. Request it from the billing form or by emailing [email protected].
You can export your full vault as a readable file any time from Settings. If Notenz ever wound down, every user would be notified by email with time to export everything before any deletion.
