No. Your notes and files are encrypted at rest the moment they're saved, and Notenz only ever stores the scrambled version. They're decrypted only at the moment your vault executes and is delivered to your chosen recipients. For even stronger protection, Guardian's Recovery Vault encrypts your data entirely in your browser before it ever reaches our servers. We never hold that key.

Nothing happens immediately. Notenz sends reminder nudges and waits a full grace period before doing anything. As long as you click one check-in link before the grace period ends, your vault stays locked and your timer resets.

Your vault content is retained for 30 days after delivery, giving you a window to recall it if it was triggered by mistake. After that, all files and notes are permanently deleted from our servers.

Yes. No commitment, no contracts: upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your billing settings. The Free plan never requires a credit card.
